The taste leads in with malts that you would expect from a brown ale, then are quickly cut by crisp hops (there is a hint of the hops flavor you experience in dry-hopped beers, but it's mild enough not to offend someone like me who dislikes IPAs). It's a little thick in consistency.
As it warms, you'll experience a more malt forward flavor. Enjoy anywhere from fridge, cellar, or room temp as per your preference.
It's refreshing to see an amber doing what it does best for once - being balanced. No overhopping, no underhopping, just a nice amber that's made to be extra strong on all fronts.
4/4
